Each engine is asked separately, and every answer is stored in full with the model version, the sources it cited and, for ChatGPT, the follow-up searches it ran.

Why engines disagree

Each engine searches different sources and writes its answer differently, so your visibility can be high on one and low on another. The By AI engine card on the Overview shows where to focus.

Countries

Answers depend on where the question is asked from, so every question is asked from the countries you choose, separately. A question asked from the United States and the United Kingdom on four engines is eight runs.

LaCleo supports 37 countries:

• Americas: United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil.
• Europe: United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway.
• Middle East and Africa: United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, South Africa.
• Asia-Pacific: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, Australia, New Zealand.

Your brand has a main country; new questions are asked from it unless you choose other countries for them. See Questions and funnel stages.

Languages

Questions can be asked in 25 languages. By default the language is detected from the question itself, so a question written in German is asked in German. You can also set it per question.

How often

• Every week, on the day and at the time set in each scout (Monday at 09:00 by default).
• On demand with Run now, once every 24 hours per brand.

If an engine does not answer, LaCleo tries again several times. A run that still fails is recorded as failed, with the reason, never silently dropped.
