Upload questions from a CSV file

Already have a list of questions in a spreadsheet? Upload it as a CSV file. You see a preview before anything is saved.

Upload a file

Section titled “Upload a file”
  1. Open Prompts and choose Upload CSV.
  2. Choose Download sample CSV if you want a ready-made file to fill in.
  3. Choose Choose a .csv file, or paste the rows into the box (…or paste CSV).
  4. Choose Preview. Each row is marked as new, already tracked, too similar to a question you track, or an error.
  5. Choose Import N prompts. Duplicates and rows with errors are skipped, and the imported questions are tracked straight away.

The file format

The first row must be a header. Only prompt is required; commas or semicolons both work as separators.

Other common header names work too: question, query or keyword for the prompt, category for the topic, country or market for countries, lang for the language.

If a row has an error

Section titled “If a row has an error”

The preview tells you what is wrong with each row:
